Announcement: Introducing the Gameday

Sports Art Blog

Gameday Sports Art was launched because of a shared love of sports art.  We curate it, we broker it, we collect it and we love talking about it.  Talking about it may be the most rewarding part of our jobs, and so we felt the need for an outlet on our website – welcome to our blog.

From the start, this blog will discuss current events in the sports art world objectively as well as our favorite pieces (very subjectively).  We hope to provide insight into investment, collection, and appraisal of a wide variety of pieces.

Mostly, though, we want to have fun on this blog.  We encourage commenters to join in on the discussion.  Tell us what you thought was interesting, tell us what you thought was dead wrong.  There’s no right answer to who makes the coolest subject for sports art (yes there is, it’s Michael Jordan), so when we pretend there is feel free to correct us.  This is meant to be a discussion blog and we’re excited to interact with our followers and clients.  Gameday Sports Art was found, first and foremost, on a passion for sports art – and we know from experience there are people just as excited about it as we are.

As we develop this platform, we hope to expand the number and types of features that we update with; this is where user participation really comes in.  Let us know what types of articles you’d love to see or which ones you don’t think are working.  We’ll expand or contract accordingly.

Here’s looking forwards to a great community and a great dialogue about the craft and curation of sports art.
